Horizontal tube sedimentation device consists of multi-layer curved plate forming an approximate tubular structure, which divides the water into multiple layers and realises the sedimentation conditions of “shallow pool theory”. The water flows horizontally in the device without changing its original flow direction, and the suspended particles sink vertically by gravity, fall from the mud discharge opening, and sink rapidly along the back chute of the horizontal pipe on the other side to the mud collection area at the bottom, which effectively solves the problem of mud discharge and improves the efficiency of sedimentation.
The whole system consists of high efficiency flocculation tower, flocculation area, transition area, water distribution area, sedimentation area, water collection area and bottom sludge discharge device, after mixing the raw water and chemicals, the raw water and pharmaceuticals in the flocculation area passes through each independent pool in turn, and the sufficiently flocculated water forms a stable water flow under the action of rectifier and water distribution device to pass through the horizontal pipe sedimentator uniformly, and the final clear water is separated in water collection device and flows into the next treatment process.

Working Principle
High efficiency flocculation tower
High-efficiency flocculation tower tower body is in the shape of a round spine, the middle part of the tower body is equipped with packing layer, the mixture of raw water and chemicals in the packing layer is fully mixed to improve the collision between the flocculating nuclei, increasing the particle size of the nuclei. The flocculating nuclei in the raw water will gradually coalesce during the rising process in the conical reaction area, increasing the specific gravity of the nuclei and improving the flocculation efficiency.
Flocculation area The flocculation area is designed as a number of rectangular distribution of vertical shafts, the corridor between the shafts is set up with high-strength PE sieve plate, the sieve plate up and down staggered holes, so that the water flow up and down reciprocating flow and flow through each shaft in turn, and ultimately flow into the end of the transition section, making full use of the space in the flocculation area. At the same time, the number of holes on the screen plate gradually increases, gradually increasing the water area, controlling the water flow to control the intensity of the flocculation reaction, and at the same time improving the shock load resistance.
Transition area Transition section inclined mounted rectifier, rectifier for the bottom of the square plate with a fine groove, the water flow into the rectifier will change the flow mode, for the subsequent water distribution device to provide a relatively stable, covering the entire sedimentation section of the water flow.
Distribution area
The water distribution area is installed with a number of vertically mounted grids composed of water distribution devices, water flow into the horizontal pipe before the uniform distribution of water through the water distribution devices, to ensure that the entire precipitation section of the water flow rate – the same in order to carry out the back end of the effect of a better horizontal pipe precipitation.
Catchment area After the raw water passes through the horizontal pipe sedimentation and separation device, the water collection device collects the water out of the horizontal pipe uniformly and controls the flow of water to flow out uniformly, ensures that the flow rate of the water out of the whole sedimentation section is the same, and reduces the water out of the water on the horizontal pipe in the water flow of the disturbance.
Horizontal Tube Sedimenter Horizontal tube precipitator consists of several groups of curved horizontal tubes with openings at intervals, each group of horizontal tubes and adjacent horizontal tubes between the back plate to form a water flow channel in line with the “shallow pool theory”, the bottom of the openings and the narrow gap between the horizontal tubes constitute a mud discharge channel, the suspended solids through the horizontal tube and the water is separated in time, the water to go to the waterway, the mud to go to the mud road to avoid the occurrence of suspended solids blocking the pipeline and alum run. Flushing device The flushing device is a flushing trolley that can realise reciprocating movement, equipped with submersible pump, flushing pipe and high-pressure nozzle, which can realise all-around flushing of the horizontal pipe precipitator, and combined with the structure of curved horizontal pipe, so that the whole flushing process leaves no dead corner. Automatic control of flushing device, automatic operation through the change of water discharge, can achieve unattended. A variety of abnormal protection to ensure the stable operation of the device.
