Sludge Dewatering Machine Description
The Multi Disk Screw press (MDS) is a new solid liquid separation equipment which is used for sludge thickening and dewatering effect. The sludge is gradually thickened and dewatered by the movement and extrusion of the screw shaft, and the dewatering is completed by the adjusting plate of the outlet. The solid content of the dewatered sludge reaches 15% to 20%.The screw shaft of the screw press dehydrator is coated with a special tungsten carbide coating and the speed is set at 2.6 rpm, which effectively reduces the wear and tear of the screw and rings. When sludge dewatering machine system is in operation, the filtered water is discharged from the gap of the ring plate. The sludge dewatering machine is equipped with several spraying devices to regularly rinse the ring blades section by section from the outside to ensure that the ring blades are not clogged. The sludge dewatering machine system is suitable for sludge of various concentrations (2,000 mg/L – 50,000 mg/L) and for dewatering of oil-containing sludge and sludge dewatering units.MAISHAN Screw Press can regulate and control the sludge feed and flocculant dosage, as well as the screw shaft speed, the sludge feed pressure and the adjusting plate. The sludge cake after sludge dewatering equipment dewatering can be transported to the truck via screw conveyor.
Treatment Process
Operating Principle
Screw Press Structure:
MAISHAN Screw press dehydrator Layers of spacers, Fixed and Moving rings are alternately secured to the rods. All ring pieces will be hand ground for installed.
Sludge Dewatering Principle:
In the dewatering section, the pitch near the discharge port is gradually reduced, bringing more pressure to the sludge dewatering in order to push out the free water from the sludge. The dewatering section rings are made of higher strength 2205 duplex steel to extend the service life of the equipment.
Sludge Dewatering Zone:
The filtrate from the sludge is discharged through the gaps between the rings, and the filtrate is collected at the outlet, where wastewater treatment can be performed on the collected filtrate.
